About

Hi, I am Capt. Jim Britton. I have been an inshore charter captain since 2010. However, my passion for fishing Flagler County, and it’s adjacent waters started when I received my first boat at age 10. Luckily, for me, we lived on a saltwater canal (since I was not old enough to trailer the boat to a ramp)!

I run a 17′ Mitzi Skiff with a custom mini-tower (built by Big Boys Play Toys), which allows me to specialize in light tackle shallow water fishing. The species I target include redfish, sea trout, flounder, tarpon, black drum, and various seasonal species. I target these fish with a combination of artificial baits or live baits on spinning gear or hand made flies and 7 – 9 weight fly gear.

On my trips I provide bait, tackle, licensing, and a cooler of ice water. When joining me, on the water, I suggest you bring polarized sunglasses, hat, sunblock, weather appropriate clothing, and snacks.

  1. Jim,

My name is Jon Hetzler. I’m the guy that took you and Dons picture up in Jacksonville at the Redfish tournament. I would like to do a Saturday or Sunday charter, morning or evening doesn’t matter, which ever looks best.
